This site is a short hop to Chatfield State Park where there is a balloon port and a beautiful reservour to explore. Avoid flying over the neighborhood to the north of the LZ and approach the park by going west or east of the residences. Watch out for the RC airport on the south side, they do not start flying until 9:00am...so morning flights are not a problem. Enter the field from the East side at the middle of the field
